MEMORANDUM OPINION
No. 04-07-00850-CR
Alex CRANK, II,
Appellant
v.
The STATE of Texas,
Appellee
From the 227th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas
Trial Court No. NM945946
Honorable Philip A. Kazen, Judge Presiding

PER CURIAM

Sitting: Alma L. L pez, Chief Justice

Catherine Stone, Justice

Steven C. Hilbig, Justice

Delivered and Filed: February 20, 2008

DISMISSED FOR LACK OF JURISDICTION

Alex Crank II filed a notice of appeal from the trial court's competency determination. We ordered Crank to show, not later than January 28, 2008, why this appeal should not be dismissed for want of jurisdiction. See Tex. Code Crim. Proc. Ann. art. 46B.011 (Vernon 2006) (stating neither the defendant nor the state may take an interlocutory appeal from a ruling regarding competency to stand trial). Crank did not respond to our order. Accordingly, the appeal is dismissed for want of jurisdiction.
