From the 288th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas
Trial Court No. 2000-PA-01586
Honorable Andy Mireles, Judge Presiding

PER CURIAM

Sitting: Phil Hardberger, Chief Justice

Delivered and Filed: August 21, 2002

DISMISSED FOR WANT OF PROSECUTION

On June 3, 2002, this court ordered appellant to file written proof that either the reporter's fee has been paid or arrangements have been made to pay the reporter's fee or appellant is entitled to appeal without paying the reporter's fee. We further ordered that should appellant fail to respond to our order within the time provided, appellant's brief would be due July 3, 2002, and we would consider only those issues or points raised in the brief that did not require a reporter's record for a decision. Tex. R. App. P. 37.3(c). Appellant failed to respond to our order. And further, neither the brief nor a motion for extension of time was filed.

On July 15, 2002, this court ordered appellant to show cause in writing why this appeal should not be dismissed for want of prosecution. See Tex. R. App. P. 38.8(a). Again, we received no response to our order. Accordingly, this appeal is dismissed for want of prosecution. Id.
